Normally this blog is about art - things that happen in the studio - but today - my little family suffered a huge loss.  Jaydee was not a good dog.  She was a great dog.  She is sorely missed.
the squirrels rule 
the back yard
with no one chasing them home,
there are no bombs
or land mines
to clean up today.
no one wants to go
for a walk
or a trip
in the car
to anywhere.
no one is hungry
with begging eyes.
the house is very quiet.
all pack meetings
have been cancelled.
 I really miss
that damn dog.
Mr C and Mr D
came for her
and slowly took her away.
I will look for her
when my time comes
and feel lucky and blessed
to see her.
