It seemed appropriate that this was most likely the last finished piece of 2013

This is an evolution of this one painting.  The process usually works this way. Start with an idea and then proceed to wrestle with the image until it satisfies itself - becoming whatever it has decided to become.  Its rare fro me to do it once and have any success.  The first top image is the last... or maybe latest...I'll give it some time and see if that's the last resolution. There are several "stages missing when i didn't stop to document - plus there's a completely different older painting under all that - which i was going to trash but I hate making stretchers etc so it was salvaged

 Across section of the diversity happening in the studio as we get closer to the end of 2013 - there's quite a few unresolved pieces I hope to pay more attention to in the next few weeks and they are putting up a good fight...
